Ask residents why they live in North County San Diego. Most will tell you it is the great schools and the clean environment that made them buy homes in San Diego’s North County. The Poway Unified School District, which serves Poway, Rancho Bernardo, and Rancho Penasquitos, is a big draw.

The children in the area are assigned to the Poway Unified School District and the award-winning Westview High School.
